Sometimes there is nothing better than three days off from school, away from your books and papers, and spending some time in the comfort of your own home. It was a nice little respite for some good rest and relaxation for all of us!
I make fun of my parents A LOT for how much they talk about Maddie (the new daughter), but after spending a lovely weekend with her I now understand. She is just adorable, cuddly, and genuinely sweet! So I SUPPOSE I understand now, a little bit better at least, how their lives have become dominated by this new fuzz ball.
Other than that, we were able to accomplish a lot of chores (four thousand pounds of laundry for example) and just spend some quality bonding time. There was almost no fighting, and we barely got on each others nerves! It was fantastic! Family time at its best :)
Sounds perfect.

ReplyDeleteSpeak for yourself! That Maddie was irritating the poop out of me! All that cuteness...all that softness... sheesh!
Grandma: It was totally perfect!
ReplyDeleteDadoo: Yeah right. Hardee har har. :)
